Over a decade ago, Shelbey and Sami met in the central location of Shelbey's parent's house and Sami's grandparents' house - the Stone Creek neighborhood mailboxes. Since then, they've done just about everything together (including continuous harassment of Zac). From proms to track meets, graduating college, and living together, there is no one else that Shelbey could've pictured being the maid of honor during this special day. Throughout the years, Zac and Shelbey have valued Sami's friendship (as well as her partner Austin's) and we are so excited to have her throughout this journey and beyond. Preston Gunter
Best Man
Preston is Zac’s older brother, who Zac has always looked up to. Because of this, Preston (not always on purpose) has taught Zac both what to do… and what not to do. When they were younger, Zac learned how to verbally combat his older brother since he didn’t stand a chance physically. As teenagers, Preston taught Zac a large amount of hands-on skills during their time mowing lawns. Zac continues to seek advice and mentorship from Preston as they both become adults because no matter how old they are, Preston will always be one of his role models.
Kaye Cunningham

Miss Kaye Cunningham came into Shelbey's life when they were both lifeguards at DJMP and they quickly found out that they could be loud, goofy, and close with one another almost instantly. They discovered a love for water and swimming (even though Kaye could kick Shelbey's ass any day, any time) and formed a bond that went past just working together as lifeguards. Even though they rarely get to be in the same town as each other, the two still communicate and keep in touch as much as they can and Shelbey loves seeing where life takes her pug lovin', musically talented, free-spirited friend. We are so lucky Kaye could be part of our day as she travels around the country for school, work, and life.
Dallin Gunter
Groomsman
Dallin is Zac’s younger brother who passed away in June of 2014. While he is no longer here physically, Dallin’s presence is still felt in multiple aspects of Zac’s life. Dallin adored his two older brothers and cherished time with his friends and family. The toughest of the three “Gunter Boys” held his own when wrestling around with his older brothers. As Dallin’s body no longer performed as it once had, he found enjoyment for all things video games, Star Wars, and Skylanders. While never getting to meet him, Shelbey feels as if she knows Dallin from all the stories and memories Zac shares with her.
Lynora Tolman
Bridesmaid
While Shelbey and Lynora found their friendship in their love of makeup in 2017, they have only grown closer throughout the years. Her soft and kind nature has given Shelbey a friend that she can always count on for hanging out (and getting homemade bread from). Zac and Shelbey enjoy spending time with Lynora and Mondell and having endless things to talk about over pizza and games. We are so pleased to have Lynora in our wedding party and for Shelbey to have a personal makeup artist on her wedding day and for many, many years to come!
Jamison Brown
Groomsman
Jamison and Zac became friends in early Elementary School as they both found themselves in the group playing any and all sports during recess. It wasn’t until Middle School that they started to become close and spend time together outside of school. Jamison and Zac lived together for two years during college. Making Jamison laugh and talking sports with each other are some of Zac’s favorite things to do, while Jamison and “Shelbs” often poke fun at one another when hanging out. We’re so excited to have Jamison be a part of the big day!
Georgia Somsen
Bridesmaid
Shelbey also met Georgia when they were both lifeguarding at DJMP. It took a little bit, but they both realized they had a similar sense of humor and began their journey of bouncing around awkward, stiff jokes and accents together. From galaxy jogger pants to impromptu photoshoots in the bluffs, Georgia has been around Shelbey's life for a good chunk of her life and always provides comedic, witty relief to Shelbey. Georgia is also the talented photographer that took our engagement photos. We are so lucky to have such a loyal and creative friend be involved in more than one way in this process!
Joey Madsen
Groomsman
Joey is another friend of Zac’s that became close during their Middle School years. The two roomed together freshman year in the dorms, but Joey still spent plenty of time at Jamison and Zac’s apartment the rest of their time in college. Joey and Zac can be found snowboarding and skiing outside of Laramie during the winter. Joey is the one that actually knows how to play video games while Jamison and Zac tag along and goof around. Joey is still in Laramie getting his Law degree, so the two will continue to shred mountains and goof around together. We are so glad to have Joey be a part of our lives and our special day!
Oakley Swann
Flower Girl
This firey, cute girl (that sometimes likes Uncle Zac, but ALWAYS prefers Aunt Shelbey) will be walking hand-in-hand with her sister Aria being one of our two cute flower girls. Oakley loves having sing-offs with Zac, anything girly, and being the oldest sibling. We are blessed to have her in our wedding!
Aria Swann

Like her sister, Aria is a spunky, energetic girl who we know will do excellent at throwing petals down the aisle on our special day. Aria enjoys puppies and all things animals! She has a great roar and we hope everyone gets to hear it on June 10. Thank you Karisa and Travis for letting your girls be part of our wedding day!
Gavin Marlatt
Ring Bearer
From the first time Gavin met Zac, an instant bromance of sorts happened. Gavin deemed Zac as his "best friend guy," and the rest is history. While he does tolerate his BLOOD-RELATED cousin, Shelbey, his obvious favorite is Zac. They enjoy playing in the dirt together, as well as tubing, watching movies, and letting Gavin unpack all his toys. We are so lucky to have Gavin as part of our wedding. Thank you, Rick and Jen for letting your son do the honors!
