Hello! Here are some of my tips and stops that I have learned on my many trips back and forth. 1. I ways travel through Hannibal and fill up my tank. You don't want to get gas in Illinois if you can avoid it, the prices get much more expensive. 2. I would avoid going towards Chicago if you can. The last time I went that way there was a ton of road construction. 3. Here are some stops that I make along the way - Monmouth - Love's or Casey's (This is about the halfway point) - Woodhull/Alpha (Exit 32) Pilot Travel Service *Last easy restroom stop of 102 miles - Rochelle ( Exit 76) Love's * There are other stops along the way, but these are just the ones that I tend to make because they are right off the highway. There are also a few rest stops along the way.
