Shelby and Moira had a "love at first sight" meeting at a wedding a few years ago, and, they've been best friends ever since. Moira brings laughter, constant support, and happiness to both Shelby and Jacob's lives. True to form, Moira was at their engagement and even brought custom bandanas for Moose & Teddy to celebrate.
Olivia Zepp

Shelby and Olivia were born cousins but grew up sisters, inseparable from the start. So much that Olivia chose Shelby to be her "living treasure" in middle school. Shelby and Olivia spent countless nights talking about life, love, and music (mostly Hannah Montana and One Direction) and Olivia will always be the little sister Shelby hoped for (and now, Jacob's too).

Barb and Shelby met in college through their sorority, Phi Mu, and Barb became Shelby's "Big Sister." Through countless cross-country moves and degrees, Shelby and Barb's friendship grew and included a girl's trip to celebrate Barb's graduation from Duke to Iceland. Now, they live right down the road from each other in Virginia (and Shelby couldn't be happier)!

Shelby and Kim met through their mutual love of horses (and Appaloosas). They were best known for wreaking havoc at Merry Acres and laughing at Webster and Gent's antics. That friendship grew into gym sessions discussing boys (including Jacob) and an unbreakable bond (one that even led to them skydiving on a whim for their 25th birthdays).

Shelby and Emma became best friends after divine intervention put them on the same college dorm floor. From there, they became inseparable through early breakfasts, french class, and an eventual trip to Paris. They have been each other's support through all of life's ups and downs, break-ups, cross-country moves, graduate degrees, and taught each other the true meaning of friendship.
