We first met back in 2019 at a family function. Over time, we’d see each other, but nothing ever really happened between us. What did happen, though, was Keona being consistently mean and mischievous toward me—classic “when a boy likes a girl” behavior, even if neither of us admitted it back then. On December 29, 2024, during a vacation in Miami, Keona got down on one knee and asked me to marry her. It was a complete surprise, but the easiest “yes” I’ve ever said.
