Do I need a visa? U.S. citizens are now required to obtain an e-visa to enter Brazil. You can apply for it on the official website: https://brazil.vfsevisa.com/homepage Which airport should I fly into? The closest airport is Deputado Luís Eduardo Magalhães International Airport (SSA), about 45 minutes from the venue. What transportation do you recommend from the airport? Ride-share services like Uber are the safest and most convenient option. Should I rent a car? We don’t recommend renting a car — ride-share and taxis are easier for visitors. Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony? We recommend using ride-share services for easy transportation.
Do you have any hotel recommendations? Yes! We’ve reserved rooms at Monte Pascoal Praia Hotel. Booking details are on the Travel page. Do I have to stay at the hotel block? Not at all! Feel free to stay wherever you prefer. Can I choose different check-in dates? Yes. You can book whatever dates fit your travel plans.
What time should I arrive at the ceremony? Please arrive about 30 minutes early so we can begin on time. Are ceremony and reception at different locations? No, both will take place at the same venue. Is there parking for the ceremony or reception? There will be limited parking at the venue. More details will be shared closer to the date.
Is there a dress code? Dress code: Black Tie What will the weather be like in Salvador in June? What should I pack? June is warm and tropical, with temperatures around 70–81°F (21–27°C). Expect humidity and occasional rain showers, so pack light, breathable clothing, dressy outfits for events, comfortable shoes, sunscreen, and a small umbrella or light rain layer.
I have a food allergy/dietary restrictions. Can I make a special request? Absolutely. Please list any dietary restrictions when you RSVP so we can inform the caterer.
