🌉 Exploring San Francisco City Hall and Epic Steakhouse are in two different (but equally iconic) parts of the city, here are some of our favorite ways to spend a few hours: 🏙️ Near City Hall (Civic Center / Hayes Valley) Stroll Hayes Valley: Just a 5-minute walk from City Hall. It’s packed with high-end boutiques, art galleries, and the famous Patricia’s Green park. Coffee & Treats: Grab a world-class pour-over at Blue Bottle Coffee or a legendary croissant from Ariscault Bakery (be prepared for a line, but it’s worth it!). ⚓ Near Epic Steakhouse (The Embarcadero) The Ferry Building: A 10-minute walk from the restaurant. Explore the local artisan shops, grab a snack at Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream, or just enjoy the views of the Bay. Bay Bridge Walk: Stroll along the waterfront toward Pier 14 for the best photo ops of the bridge before dinner starts. 🧸Family-friendly spots to explore between the ceremony and dinner. 🌳 Near City Hall (Civic Center)Helen Diller Civic Center Playground: Located right in the plaza outside City Hall, these are two of the coolest playgrounds in the city. They feature a "cloud forest" climbing structure and massive slides that are perfect for getting the wiggles out after the ceremony. The Asian Art Museum: Just across the street! They offer "explorer packs" for kids and have plenty of open space to wander if it’s a foggy day. 🎡 Near Epic Steakhouse (The Embarcadero)The Exploratorium: This is a world-famous interactive science museum where kids are encouraged to touch everything.Sue Bierman Playground: Hidden gem of a playground right near the Ferry Building. It has a great play structure and plenty of grass for kids to run around while parents enjoy the bay views. The Ferry Building: Perfect for a quick, kid-friendly snack like Humphry Slocombe ice cream or a fresh loaf of bread from Acme Bread. Pro Tip: San Francisco weather changes fast! We recommend bringing a light jacket or "layering up" for that afternoon breeze off the Bay.
