Fondly known as "Sheilz" by my peers. My Dad calls me "Adooo" and my hubby-Dr. Eric calls me "star baby". My grandma calls me "Ada Beu Beu" (meaning beauty). I am the 'Early Morning Sunshine" (EMS) of my lovely parents Chief Engr. Joel Ezugwu and Lady Ifeoma Tonia Ezugwu. The first of five lovely siblings, the Ada of the Ezugwus and my Mum's second in command. I grew up loving God so much that I aspire to become a christian motivational speaker to those emotionally in need. My most cherished attributes are love, honesty, joy and care for friends and family. My hobbies are work-out session with 'Heather Robertson ~ Youtube, praying, reading scriptures and devotional books. I am in my mid-career development stage where I aspire to take my criminal justice and cyber security career to the legal field as an attorney.
I am the third child born into the beautiful family of Late Mr. Moses Chinaeke Amoke and Mrs. Getrude Amoke. I am fondly called "Ericdon" by my peers and my siblings call me “Ejaik”. My maternal grandfather gave me the name Ejikeme- a name derived from the sentence "ejighi ike eme uwa". In English language, it could be translated to mean "By strength shall no man prevail". Nothing of lasting importance can be done well with force or forceful agitation. My lifestyle mirrors in full the meaning of my name. At some point in my daily struggles, I must latch on to grace to glide through life, with the mindset of total humility, absolute trust in God and total submission to his will. My commonly noticed attributes are humility, perseverance, tenacity, kindness, and arms given. In all many successes and beautiful achievements thus far, I remained humble knowing in truth that "by strength shall no man prevail". At my leisure, I love watching soccer games, playing in pick-up soccer games, listening to news on politics and sports. My typical day involves lots of high-level scientific problem solving expected of a Pharmacist with a PhD training. I am super excited for our wedding on July 31st and can’t wait to move on to the very next chapter of my life.
"As the spirit leads" was our mantra for handling the uncertainties heralding us as love birds. Facebook may be where people meet as friends, but it is also a great place where we can meet our other halves. I was in my zone being my spinster self and not in sight of being taken anytime soon until I got a Facebook friendship request from someone named “Eric Don”. I reluctantly accepted his friendship request and found we have several mutual Facebook friends including my Daddy. As expected, I reached out to my Daddy only to find out they knew each other. In my Daddy’s words… “Adoo, Yes I know him and his family, he is from Nsukka and it is always good to know your people over there in the US”. I didn’t pay attention nor pick interest that much, but Eric always knows what he wants and would never stop knocking. His unflinching persistence is not of this World. Lol!! He broke the ice and we spoke for the first time on February 1st, 2019 and the rest was history. On our first date he made his intentions clear and embroiled all his wishes to be subject to “the spirit leading us” and eventually the 'US' was started, and we are growing stronger together in love as every single day passes. Today, God has joined us together in friendship and love, aligning both families in love and unity. The secret of our love is in our friendship, openness, and sincerity to each other, strongly believing in the completeness of our union. We formally began this journey with our introduction which took place on July 27th, 2019. Our union is about to be blessed on July 31st, 2021 and we will be very honored to have you celebrate and cocktail with us.
