We met in the summer of 2018 when Cyrus moved to Cannon Beach and got a job at The Hardware Store along side myself. We instantly became good friends and as you all know, the timing wasn’t right despite the massive crushes we shared for one another. We built our friendship and after Cyrus moved to Colorado to be with his family we kept in touch and I always cherished our occasional “check-in” texts. Flash forward to 2020 and Cyrus decided to move back to the Oregon Coast! Once again we worked together and got to spend a lot of time cultivating our amazing friendship. The timing was finally right, and we fell in love quickly. He was so amazing from the very start to Rowan, and showed both of us what an extremely caring, selfless, and healthy love looked like. I knew from the start I wanted to build an amazing life with this man, and we are really doing just that.

On the anniversary of when Cyrus first asked me to be his girlfriend, we went on a mini vacation in Estes Park, Colorado. We stayed at the famous Stanley Hotel and after walking the grounds and checking out the views, I turned around and he was on one knee with the most beautiful ring. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives and are so grateful for the love and support we receive from all of you.
