What date should I RSVP by?
Answer
We ask that you RSVP as soon as you can. The deadline is March 9th 2025. If you have not RSVP'd by this date we will have to assume you can't make it.

The ceremony and reception will both be taking place at the Pousada Mosteiro Amares.

Where can I stay?
Answer
We understand that our guests will be traveling to join us for our special day. To ensure your comfort, our venue has been exclusively reserved for our guests on July 29th. Check-in will be available July 29th at 3pm. Check out is at 12pm the following day July 30th. If you'd like to stay at the venue a day before or a day after our wedding, please request reservation by email directly and only to Catarina at catarina.ferreira@pestana.com When emailing, please use 'Room Reservation for the Shehata/daSilva Wedding' as the subject line and please be sure to cc' me on the email - mshehata913@gmail.com Please use the link below to check out the rooms that are available for booking at our venue. https://www.pousadas.pt/en/hotel/pousada-amares/rooms 20 rooms will be held for our guests until March 1st 2025. What time should I arrive?
Answer
If you are not staying the night before, please plan to arrive in time for check-in at 3 p.m. This will give you plenty of time to settle into your room and get familiar with the venue before the ceremony begins at 5 pm.

How can I get to the venue?
Answer
If you're renting a car, the venue is easily accessible by road. However, if you prefer not to rent a car, you can take a train to Braga and then catch a taxi/uber from the station. The taxi/uber ride to the venue will take around 30 minutes.

Yes, there is lots of parking available on site.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Yes, of course! Please indicate in the online RSVP section if you will be bringing a plus one.

The wedding will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.

Our dress code is formal attire, but above all, please make sure you're comfortable for the weather.

Our dance floor is made of old stone, so please pack a back up comfortable dancing shoe to switch into for the party!

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?
Answer
There will be no time gap. After our ceremony we will move into our cocktail hour with dinner and dancing to follow.
