What should I wear?

Answer

Grah Shanti: Traditional Indian attire. There will not be time to change before the Pithi. Pithi: Traditional Indian or casual Western attire Mehendi: Dressy casual Western or traditional Indian attire Ceremony & Reception: Semi-formal Western or traditional Indian attire. Please keep in mind that there will not be time to change between the ceremony and reception, so wear something you will be comfortable in all day!

Are there colors I should or shouldn't wear?

Answer

For the Pithi and Mehendi events, yellow and green are recommended respectively, but not required! For the wedding ceremony, please do not wear red, white, blush pink, or sage green as these are the colors for the bride, groom, and wedding party. Indian weddings are meant to be colorful, so please feel free to wear any other colors!

Will the events be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All events will be held indoors. Weather-permitting, there is an outdoor area for you to enjoy during the cocktail hour and reception!
