Things To Do

The Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail

Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail, Atlanta, GA 30312

We both used to live within walking distance of the Beltline, and it quickly became the backdrop of many early memories in our relationship. The Beltline is a paved trail lined with shops, bars, and restaurants, making it the perfect place to explore. Ponce City Market, with its vibrant food hall and unique boutiques, is always a fun stop. We also love Krog Street Market—home to some of our go-to spots like Superica and Fred's Meat & Bread. Our very first date was at The James Room, and when the weather was nice, grabbing a drink at Ladybird became a tradition.

Freedom Farmers Market

453 John Lewis Freedom Parkway Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30307

When we lived nearby, visiting this farmers market became a beloved weekend ritual. Held every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to noon, it quickly became one of our favorite ways to start the weekend. Emerald City Bagels serves up some of the best bagels in Atlanta, and we could never resist the incredible pastries and fresh-baked breads from Little Tart Bakery.

Atlanta Botanical Garden

1345 Piedmont Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30309

The Atlanta Botanical Garden is one of the city’s most beautiful hidden gems, nestled right next to Piedmont Park. It’s a peaceful escape filled with lush gardens, seasonal blooms, and stunning exhibits like the Orchid Center and the Canopy Walk through the treetops.

The Battery Atlanta

800 Battery Avenue Southeast, Atlanta, GA 30339

The Battery is one of those spots in Atlanta where there’s always something going on. It’s right next to Truist Park, so on Braves game days, the energy is electric—but even when there’s no game, it’s still a fun place to hang out. There are tons of restaurants, bars, and shops packed into a walkable space, so whether you’re meeting up for drinks, grabbing a bite, or just strolling around, it never disappoints.

Georgia Aquarium

225 Baker Street Northwest, Atlanta, GA 30313

The Georgia Aquarium is a great spot in Atlanta. It’s home to thousands of sea creatures, including massive whale sharks, playful otters, and graceful manta rays. Walking through the giant tunnel exhibit feels like you're underwater with them. It’s such a fun place to explore and perfect for a rainy day or when you just want to do something a little different.
