We were both in the same section (Y'ALL KNOW WHO) during our MBA at the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) and were randomly assigned to sit next to each other in Statistics and Finance. Sparks flew - who knew math could be so romantic.

We went on a hike with our dog, Gus, to our favorite place near Philly - Wissahickon Park. I knew Kevin was going to propose so I was waiting at every instance for the moment to happen. Finally, after over an hour of hiking, Kevin threw a tennis ball to me and I responded "This isn't a great place to play fetch with Gus". Turns out he had "Will you marry me?" written on the tennis ball (for context, Gus loves to play fetch and we have lots of tennis balls). I immediately said "YES". The rest is history :) PS - Yes, poor Gus was disappointed that the ball was never thrown to him.
