We were at a Christmas party with lots of Wes and Ed's friends. Wes and Ed were friends. I had just had my first daughter, Leila in April of that year. When Ed introduced me to Wes, he wouldn't look at me, but said hello and then walked on. In May 2014, when Wes and I would become Facebook friends, he told me he didn't look at me out of respect for Ed. "You looked like an angel," he said. Ed and I divorced in 1988 after we'd had our second daughter, Sarah, and then sadly, Ed passed away in 1999. When I saw Wes's face on FB, I remembered him and knew I wanted to get to know him better. We started talking on the last day of Memorial Day weekend and never looked back. In a week, we said we loved each other and in September I moved to El Paso to be with him. We have been together for five years, getting to know each other and now we are going to be married.
