We’re Getting Married!!

Jacob and Sheela’s story started with a simple scroll. Sheela came across Jacob on social media and thought, “Wow,” so she followed him. He followed back and (even though he won’t admit it) quickly messaged her. They soon realized he was stationed in Japan with the Marine Corps, and the timing just didn’t seem right—so life went on. About a year and a half later, Sheela reached out again just to see what he was up to. That one message changed everything. For months they talked nonstop, and Jacob promised that when he got home, he’d drive to see her. Sheela called his bluff—until she woke up to messages saying he was on his way. After an 18+ hour drive, they met, and from that moment on, they were inseparable. Their love led Sheela to take a leap of faith and move across the country to be with him, beginning their life side by side. Through every laugh, challenge, and adventure, they knew they had found something special. One night, after joking about marriage, Jacob admitted he had bought a ring—but Sheela didn’t believe him. A few days later, as they walked to the truck after dinner, she opened the door to see the words, “Will you marry me?” and turned to find Jacob on one knee. Through tears and laughter, she said yes. After every mile, every risk, and every moment that brought them closer, Jacob and Sheela are now turning their lives into one—building a home, a future, and a love story that’s only just beginning.
