We were two students at the University of Akron, headed on a month-long study abroad trip to Germany. We met for the first time at the Cleveland airport checking in our bags, and as Grandma Barbie said "it was love at first flight!" We spent a month abroad, traveling from Germany to Switzerland - Prague to Brussels - and we fell more in love with each other as each day passed. Who knew a trip 4,000 miles across the world would lead us to one another?

Rob had planned a night of dinner and drinks with friends in Cleveland. When we finished dinner, we were on our way to his "friends" house... The next thing I knew, we were pulling into the Cleveland airport and Rob was pulling me out of the car. He led me to the exact spot of our first conversation in front of the check-in desks and got down on one knee! To really bring everything full circle, Rob had all of our closest family & friends waiting at Hofbrahaus to celebrate that night (since we had been to the original in Munich). Prost! It was the truly best night of my life. --- Now, we are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in December!
