We are getting married!

Luke and Lauren met on the dating profile, Hinge. They first bonded over both having collapsed lungs in the past and quickly found other commonalities. Lauren didn't know anyone in the Twin Cities after she moved from Indiana but quickly found belonging with Luke. At first, they weren't sure if they would be compatible, but Lauren made up her mind one day and asked Luke to be her boyfriend. It didn't go to plan. Lauren believed he wasn't interested until he took her out on a date to the Vine Room in Hopkins, MN. There he asked her to be his girlfriend. 4 months later, at the same place, she said the scary words of "I love you" first. The next year and a half were filled with trips to Chicago, Indiana, State Parks, and Colorado. They made the decision to move in together and took on the challenge of homeownership with patience and determination. They finally decided to take trip abroad together, and there, with no pressure whatsoever from Lauren; Luke proposed. It was an obvious yes. Now, they have been together for 3 1/2 years, adopted another cat, and are eager to start their next adventure. Thank you to everyone for celebrating this journey with us and on our wedding day!
