Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park
Located 15-20 minutes away from the hotel, Planting Fields is where Gary proposed! It is so special to us, and absolutely beautiful.
Village of Roslyn
Gerry Park, Hendrick's, and YOLO below are all located within the historic village of Roslyn. Gary and Lurissa have spent a lot of time here. It is a beautiful village, with shops, restaurants, and beautiful streets and parks to walk. It's pretty tiny, but has so much charm. The address here routes you to the lot we usually park in, however there is plenty of street parking and additional lots available.
Gerry Park
Best place to walk around the gorgeous ponds before or after grabbing dinner in Roslyn Village. There's a small parking lot located at the park, and municipal parking around the corner (across from YOLO Yogurt).
YOLO Yogurt & Desserts
One of the best frozen yogurt places, located in the heart of Roslyn Village. We love it here!
Hendrick's Tavern
One of our favorite spots for brunch and dinner! This is also located in Roslyn Village. It's usually pretty busy, however they now take reservations on Open Table. If you go, please get the zucchini and eggplant chips (not nut allergy friendly) - they are INCREDIBLE!
Mim's Restaurant
We have ordered this way too many times on Door Dash not to include it here... the best restaurant! Lurissa loves their chicken with apples and nuts, and Gary loves their sandwiches. The Kung Pao cauliflower is also amazing!
