FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Black Tie (Optional). Dress to impress! Wear that fancy dress in your wardrobe that you can't wear to any other occasion! If you own a tux and want to wear it, please do! Don’t have a tux? No need to buy one, a suit is fine! There will be a coat check at the Fairmont Copley, so pull out your fanciest coats for the walk from Saint Cecilia's Parish to the reception.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Young children are more than welcome to come to Saint Cecilia's for the ceremony! There is an hour between the end of the ceremony and the start of the cocktail hour, so parents will have a little time to make accommodations.

Question

Will there be transportation to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a bus from the Fairmont Copley to St. Cecilia Church at 2:20pm on 3/1, and returning after the ceremony. The bus will pick up guests at the Trinity Place entrance (on Trinity Pl) at 2:20 and will return to the Fairmont for a second round of pickups if capacity is reached.

Question

Parking?

Answer

For those driving into Boston, there are several parking options: The Fairmont Copley has overnight valet services (nearly all area hotels should have a similar option). There is also a parking garage nearby at 100 Clarendon St with a lower daily rate. If you plan to drive to the ceremony at St Cecilia, the Hynes Auditorium parking garage is located a short walk away at 50 Dalton St.
