Virginia is Alex's younger sister of 3 years. When Ginny was born, Alex was super excited to have a best friend to play with, until she realized that Ginny would not be big enough to play with for quite a while longer. As the two grew up though, they played with poly pockets, barbies, trucks and more. Alex admires who Ginny has become and is excited to see her continue to grow up.

Madeline Shea

Maid of Honor

Maddy is Alex's youngest sister and is a co maid of honor with Virginia. Growing up the large age difference between Alex and Maddy was difficult, especially when Alex realized all her birthdays would be shared since Maddy was born four days before her 6th birthday. As the two grew up though, they started sharing many interests including rowing, soccer, and biomedical.

Zachary Lacroix

Best Man

Zach is Benji's older brother and closest friend growing up. The two grew up together building LEGOs, making snow forts, and racing whatever vehicles they had at their disposal around the house. They now enjoy hanging out together discussing their latest projects, playing games, and spending late nights reminiscing about past family debacles.

Mattias Lacroix

Best Man

Mattias is Benji's younger brother of seven years, and the two are best friends. Whether it be playing games or goofing around, the two love spending time together and have developed many shared interests over the years including inventing new games and Ghibli films. When Alex and Benji started dating, Mattias was a big part of their relationship and helped Alex understand what having a brother was all about.

Alex met Ash when they were 13 years old at a rowing training program. When Ash let go of the oar handle and shattered the erg screen, Alex knew they would be best friends forever. Throughout high school, Ash and Alex rowed together alongside Danielle, another bridesmaid. They want to the same university and despite moving to different parts of the country, they have remained close friends.

Joshua Harvey

Benji and Josh have been best friends since middle school and have always shared a love of the outdoors and games. In boy scouts, Josh and Benji were almost always tent mates and spent many a night up late asking deep philosophical questions. Now Benji gets to see Josh on both coasts where they spend time discussing public transit improvements, going hiking, or dueling out nightlong games of Heroscape.

Danielle Labarre

Danielle and Alex met in the spring of freshman year of high school on the rowing team. Alex and Danielle quickly became friends and dubbed themselves alongside Ash "BOAT." Alex's favorite memory of Danielle is seeing her by chance in Chipotle after a drastically long three days without seeing each other and squealing in delight.

Jeffery Zhou

During Benji's first week of college at Pitt he met Jeffrey playing Catan with his brother and immediately gained a best friend and a new favorite hobby. They shared a suite their freshman year and spent almost every night either at ultimate frisbee practice, doing homework, or playing board games. Although Jeff transferred schools their sophomore year, they have remained close and see each other each year around the holidays in Philly where they eat good food, play ping pong, and of course play board games.

Alex met Fiona on the rowing team sophomore year of college. They quickly became best friends and decided to be roommates for the rest of college. Alex and Fiona became like sisters, spending every day together going for drives, grabbing Dunkin, and singing Taylor Swift at the top of their lungs. Some of Alex's fondest memories with Fiona are reorganizing their room at 2am at least once a semester.

Atlas Shea Lacroix

Atlas is turning four years old the day before the wedding! He was rescued in the spring of 2022 and turned Alex and Benji from a couple into a family. Atlas is truly the best dog in the world and is loved so deeply. His favorite activities include ball, cuddle, and beach.
