WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

We matched on a dating app, surprisingly enough! They always have such a bad rep but it seemed to work out fairly well for us! We lucked out with matching because Zachary lived in Stillwater for school while I lived in OKC. Due to mileage perimeters I had set on my app, he had to have been in the right place at the right time for us to pop up in each others feed. We hit it off very quickly over text and met with each other shortly after. As soon as we met we both could tell that we had an immediate connection that neither of us had really experienced before. I know that sounds cliché, but its the honest truth. We were quite inseparable, and still are. It's been nothing short of amazing to be able to find that other person that compliments your personality so well.

Zachary & I had talked about marriage because that's what we were both looking for from a partner however, his proposal still took me by surprise. I was out with friends at a zoo event at Fassler Hall in OKC. A couple hours after being there he surprised me by showing up! I was excited to see him because i wasn't expecting to see him until later in the week since he was in Stillwater for school. On our way out the door, he stopped and pulled me backwards and popped the question right there in the courtyard of Fassler Hall. Two of my best friends, Heaven and Mary, were there to capture the moment with photos. I was so happy and so surprised! Afterwards, Zach had explained that he was looking for the perfect spot to propose such as the Grand Canyon, but decided that he didn't want to wait anymore. He called my step dad and father that night and then headed up to surprise me. It was the most perfect!
