Erik and Shea met on a beautiful July afternoon playing spikeball with friends at Belmont harbor in Chicago. A massive rainstorm attempted to break up the fun but the two of them, with help from their friends, braved the storm and the party continued. Later, they all went to the Taste of Lincoln street fest, a rooftop party, and ended the night at Kirkwoods. Their connection that night was apparent to all and quickly lead to an official first date!

Almost exactly 2 years later, close to where the two met, Erik decided to get down on one knee in Lincoln Park. Shea was stunned and Erik could barely get all of his words out to pop the question. Following the proposal, they celebrated with friends and family and even went back to the Taste of Lincoln Park where their story first began. See you in Milwaukee!
