We met one fateful night in October of 2020 thanks to a little bit of luck and a lot of help from the six degrees of Penn State. Though we both spent four years at Penn State, our paths never crossed in Happy Valley. It wasn’t until years after graduation that friends of friends from college led us to the same rooftop housewarming party in Philadelphia. At the time, Erin was living and working in Philly, and Ian was in his third year of law school. On that October night (or possibly early morning, depending on who you ask) we struck up a conversation that neither of us wanted to end.....and possibly shared a first kiss. Just a few days later, Ian asked Erin out to dinner at Urban Village, now one of our neighborhood staples, and from that moment on, we were nearly inseparable. Even while navigating the very long distance between Fishtown and Point Breeze, our connection only grew stronger. Over the past five, years, we’ve shared countless memories, adopted the best dog (love ya Izzie), and moved into an apartment just blocks from our first date spot. Now, we’re beyond excited to celebrate the next chapter with all of you!
