Our Story
Emma and I had our first date in October of 2024. When I met her, my eyes widened – she was the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen, but I kept it cool. We sat on the beach and talked story until late into the evening sharing stories and laughing (some crying), with some not-so-awkward silences. She offered to hold something as we walked back and I said “You can hold my hand”. We walked hand-in-hand, said see ya tomorrow, and left. Driving home, Emma listened to "Enchanted" and I called my close friends to tell them about the date. We thought he/she was "the one" already. Without hesitation about being ourselves, we dove into something new for us both, and our faith grew. With Christ as our example, we have learned a lot about what it means to love and truly care for each other. This personal growth, guidance, and patience, carried us in our relationship to our wedding. It's just the beginning of our story and we are excited to celebrate with you this summer!
Our engagement on Mount Lemmon in Tucson, AZ – November 26, 2024
In July 2024, we got to hike the Napali Coast on Kauai to celebrate our friends' wedding. (Emma would like to publicly thank Shea for carrying a backpack of water for her.)
