1) Cat and Shea were set up on a blind play date the summer before Kindergarten by their moms. They went to Cedar Lake in their hometown of Chester, CT. 2) Cat and Shea went to the same elementary school, moved to the same middle school the same year, went to the same high school, went to the same college, and now live in the same town in Oregon. 3) Cat and Shea were written up by the police at her home after her younger brother, Luke, pressed a burglary alarm when the three of them were alone. A cop showed up and when Cat and Shea went outside to explain what had happened, he came around the house with his gun drawn. This was, somehow, their only altercation with the police in their 25 years of friendship.
Julio Rodrigues
Best Man
1) Julio and Brad met in elementary school. Julio had recently immigrated to the United States from Mexico. 3) Julio loves cars so much that he named his dog, Maro, after his old car, a Camaro. He no longer has the Camaro and Maro has gone missing more than three times - something he and Minka, Brad's dog, have in common. 3) Julio doesn't believe in wearing undershirts. In fact, he probably isn't wearing one right now. Go on, check.
Devon Connor
Bridesmaid
1) Devon and Shea were always the friends that got colds, the flu, and any strange illness. Once in elementary school they both got the flu after a play date when they jumped out of Shea's hot tub into the Connecticut snow and back, over and over again. 2) Devon's art can be found in several rooms of Shea and Brad's home. Their bathroom features a life-sized portrait of their cat, Moose, painted by Devon. 3) Neither Devon nor Shea are the best drivers, and unfortunately, Shea once hit Devon with her car in the Valley Regional High School parking lot.
Brandon Pooler

1) Brandon and Brad met the good old fashioned way - at the lunch table in high school. Neither could meet romantic interests in person though, and both Brandon and Brad have the dating app Bumble to thank for introducing them to their wives. 2) Brandon's home is filled with art from his friends, including a custom piece from Julio and Brad. The same art has also been featured on his company's skidsteer. 3) On a 2019 trip to Florida, Brad and Brandon were in a golf cart together. Brandon decided to test the limits of the golf cart and it ended up flipping. Brad was unscathed, Brandon was not. Ask to see the scar behind his ear for proof.
Kera Johnson

Two truths and a lie: 1) Kera and Shea met on the first day of college at Northeastern. Kera is from Los Angeles, CA and Shea thought they would have nothing in common. They spent nearly every day of college together. 2) Kera and Shea have the same birthday (January 7, 1995), joined the same sorority (Delta Zelta), and frequently communicated without words, making the two of them practically twins. 3) Kera and Shea's first trip together was SnowJam in Mont Tremblant, a chaotic excursion with college students from across the Northeast. They decided to try skiing, but realized it was a lost cause when they tried to get off the ski lift, immediately wiped out at the same time, and pizza'd all the way back to the lodge.
Ryan Snyder

1) Ryan and Brad were roommates in college and hosted many parties on their rooftop in Mission Hill. While this was fun, the downside was that Ryan does not like heights, and the rooftop was very, very high. 2) Ryan is a Lord of the Rings movies superfan and has watched them more times than he can count. He has not, however, ever read any of the books. 3) Ryan and Brad both went to Wentworth Institute of Technology. While Brad does whatever he does for work, Ryan is a genius who works for a quantum computer company. He's so important that he's even brought his laptop to concerts as his plus one.
Fiona Howard

Two truths and a lie: 1) Fiona and Shea met at Northeastern when Shea was the Captain of the Equestrian Team and Fiona was an incoming Freshman. Fiona now competes at a global level. In 2024 she won two Paralympic Gold Medals in Paris in Paradressage with her horse, Dunes. 2) Fiona wanted to learn to drive, and Shea decided to let Fiona try driving her car while they were in Canada, without a permit. Shea then learned Fiona did not have her glasses with her, which she desperately needed to read road signs. 3) Fiona did not like Shea at first, because Fiona is English and Shea was an excitable sorority girl. Shea won Fiona over when she visited Fiona at Boston Children's Hospital, they went on a walk together, Shea told Fiona to stand on her IV pole, and then Shea pushed Fiona down a ramp and she ran into closed doors. Now they're thick as thieves.
