I went to military ball with some friends who ended up just hanging without me. I was the weirdo dancing alone on the dance floor and Shayne saw me and swooped in. At first I refused to let him dance with me then I finally gave in. At the time I was super into the thoughts of is this my future so and so? Is this person my future so and so. It was funny because I remember praying about it. After the dance I never saw the guy again. Little did I know that like 5 years later I would end up re-meeting him again. His first idea for a date was going camping in a far away place even though I had just met the guy again after not seeing him for 5 years. Me then was like okay whatever; what's the worst that can happen. 6 years later were still going strong and camping at the same spot with two kids now. p
