Tara is one of my oldest friends & dearest friends. We meet in middle school, but our mothers knew each other before we met. I remind her all the time I am 72 hours older than her. She has been my sounding board over the years, always asking me for more details! She has taken me in as one of the family! The family has adopted me as "Aunt Shayna", and I am truly grateful to have her in my life!!

What do I say about you? It has been you and I since before you were 3 years old. For the last 10 years we have been trying to figuring out how to navigate our way through life. We did many things right, and some things wrong. But now it is time for you to stand beside me as we bring another into our group and figure out how to navigate our way through life as a family.

Even though I wasn't his "Best Man" and he thinks he is a better electrician just because he has 10 fingers Johnny has been one of my closest friends/cousins. From playing Granite Ball as a kid to hanging in the bars all night in our 20's we have shared many a great times. Then again cutting down 80 foot pine trees, building his garage, and hanging sheetrock in my remodel there have also been some not so great times. I know he is always there when I need him to be. Since my "Best Man" is underage Johnny gets to fill in for those duties.

You abandon a guy on his own in one simulated firefight in Basic Training and he never leaves your side again. Beejay and I were 2 beds apart in Basic Training and have been friends ever since. We have been through many ups and downs together over the last 26 years, but he has always been there for me when I need him.

Michelle joined into a marry band of misfits when we were in the Army, even though she thought I was an A$$HOLE when she first met me. Really what college girls would have a living room full of Army men almost every weekend. Yet still 24 years later she still keeps meeting up and hanging out with a room full of Army men multiple times a year.
