It’s only right Tray & Shay would meet for the first time at a sporting event given both of them love sports. June 30th, 2018 became a very special day, but they weren’t aware at the time. Although there was an instant attraction on both ends, it seemed far from a “love at first sight” story. The two ended up speaking more about work than getting to know each other and exchanged emails instead of phone numbers. However, fate would eventually have it's way as the pair kept running into each other around LA. ESPYs Week, in particular, Tray & Shay both ended up at a private party in the Hollywood Hills with a house full of people, and ironically enough, at that moment, they let their guards down and got to know each other better. A long conversation, several jokes, a few drinks, and a shattered glass (by Shayna) later, the two had their first official date set. On August 5th, at a bright and early 9am, the two met at Rumble Boxing in West Hollywood for their first date... they took a class together, grabbed smoothies and kept the good times going every week after that. Things got real by December when Shay went back to Connecticut for the holidays, and Tray texted her asking if he could post a photo of them for Christmas on his Instagram page. By January they were in a committed relationship and every day since has been an incredible whirlwind of laughs, lessons and love!
