Shayna and Joseph were introduced to each other through one of Joseph's colleagues as acquaintances and didn't think much of it. The first time they really talked was on a long train ride from Penn Station to Princeton Junction. They realized later how comfortable they were with one another despite hardly knowing each other. 9 months of responding to each other's Instagram stories and short conversations pass, they happened to meet again. The two decided to grab a meal together a couple weeks after that and just haven't stopped talking since. The couple always seemed to be like passing ships in the night. Joseph grew up in New York, Shayna grew up in California. Shayna's family moved to New York, Joseph moved to Illinois for college. They both happened to be in Princeton for about 2 years, but not once did they ever meet. Two people who seemingly never would have crossed paths meeting, falling in love, and after 2 years choosing to start a new life together revealed to them how God really works in mysterious ways. Life is full of unexpected turns, but they will choose to continue to trust in the Lord as He guides them on this lifelong journey.
