Our ceremony and reception will be at the Lake Bomoseen Taproom and Lodge in Castleton, Vermont. Everything—from the ceremony to the after-party—is happening on-site. We’ll be staying at the Lodge through Wednesday, so if you’re up for a little summer getaway, stick around and enjoy the lake with us.
Yes! We’d love to have as many of our guests staying at the Lodge as possible. It’s where all the action is, and it makes everything simpler—no driving, no missing out. Rooms can be booked by calling the Lodge directly—just mention our wedding when you do. There’s limited availability at the Lodge on Saturday night, but Sunday is currently wide open. That said, rooms may still fill up—so we recommend booking early to lock in your spot. Even if you stay elsewhere Saturday, we’d love for you to move over to the Lodge for Sunday night and any extra days you’re able to stay. If the Lodge fills up, there are plenty of great alternatives: lakeside Airbnbs nearby and several hotels within a 30-minute drive. We’ve got recommendations on our Where to Stay page if you need a backup plan.
No transportation needed! Since everything is on-site and we’re hoping most guests will be staying at the Lodge on Sunday night, getting around will be as easy as stepping outside your room.
Semi-formal. Cocktail attire is perfect—dresses, suits, or dressy separates. The ceremony will be outdoors at the top of a hill, the cocktail hour will be under a tent by the lake, and the reception will be indoors with air conditioning. We recommend shoes you can walk on grass in, and outfits that will keep you comfortable for a Vermont summer evening.
The ceremony is in the afternoon on Sunday, August 2, 2026. We’ll be around starting Saturday if you’d like to come up early and hang out—no official events, just casual lake time. If you can extend your stay, we’ll be at the Lodge through Wednesday.
Only if your invitation includes a plus one. We’re keeping things intimate and our space is limited—thank you for understanding.
Only those specifically named on the invitation. Thanks for helping us keep the weekend focused and easy.
Bring your swimsuit, sandals, sunscreen, and anything else you’d want for a few relaxing days by the lake. The Lodge has a pool, kayaks, fire pits, a bar and restaurant, pickleball and volleyball courts, plus a golf course right across the street. We’ll also have cornhole and quoits set up for some low-stakes competition. Monday and Tuesday will be super laid-back—think swimsuits, lawn games, drinks by the water.
