It's a Forever kind of thing

One Friday afternoon in April 2022, Kellie Walsh (AKA The Matchmaker) was getting her hair done by Shayna and they were just catching up on life when Kellie brought up the idea of setting Shayna up with someone she knew at work. Of course, Shayna politely declined, but her friends decided to jump in and they conspired to set her up anyways. Sunday afternoon, Shayna received a text from Carter asking her to dinner and they had their first date the next day. The two instantly became inseparable and have been together since! A few weeks after the two started dating, Carter got a job in Montana and moved there in May. After several visits to Montana, a few quick weekends home and many, many, many face time dates, Carter finally moved home in October! Fast forward to when the couple moved in together in August of 2023 to start saving for their first home. In January 2024, they sign a contract to build a house in Nampa. They spent most of the next few months driving by the progress of the build, saving every penny and constantly getting asked when there would be a ring... (At least Shayna was getting asked almost daily in the salon). Little did Shayna know, Carter had went in and designed a ring in June without telling her. He wanted both the proposal and the ring to be a complete surprise. July 2024 the couple was on vacation at the Oregon Coast with Shayna’s family enjoying some family time and relaxing on the beach. And on July 10th, Carter and Shayna went for a walk before dinner and Carter was hiding something... Halfway down the beach, they stop to take a picture and Carter gets down on one knee, and there was no hesitation before Shayna said “YES!” The second surprise was a drone recording the whole thing and Shayna’s parents hiding with a camera! The two spent the rest of the week celebrating and then the planning began! They moved into their home in September 2024 with their two dogs, Ollie and Nash and have been continuing to build their life together! Now, they are getting ready to become husband and wife, surrounded by all their friends and family!
