We're getting married!

Anthony and Shayna’s story actually began long before either of them realized it. As kids, their paths crossed because their sisters were best friends. At the time, they were just two kids around the same circles, never imagining their lives would eventually intertwine in a much bigger way. Fast forward to 2017, when fate stepped in again. Both Anthony and Shayna found themselves working together at Pietro’s. What started as casual conversations quickly turned into daily flirting, jokes behind the counter, and finding any excuse to spend time together during shifts. For about a year, Anthony repeatedly asked Shayna on dates but every attempt somehow ended the same way. After working up the courage, he would suddenly decide the three-year age gap was just “too much” and insist they could never date. Those moments were usually followed by very awkward, completely silent car rides home. Eventually, Anthony realized the age gap might not be the biggest problem after all... missing his chance with Shayna would be. On May 14, 2019, he finally built up the courage to do it right and asked her out with roses in hand. And the rest, as they say, is history
