We’re getting hitched ranch style!

Tristan and Shay met Sophomore year of high school in Baker, MT. Shay and Tristan both having common interests in Ag and FFA, quickly became good friends. After months of flirting in the ag shop and Tristan’s 3 date proposals that Shay rejected; they finally started dating on May 5th, 2013. Even though they had some bumps in the road and some growing up to do, they were always meant to be.

On December 24th, 2020, Tristan insisted that Shay help him feed that day. As Shay crawled onto the back of the feed pickup to flake bales (Okay, Tristan actually pushed her up there) Tristan got out a ring. When Shay turned around, Tristan held up the ring and asked Shay to spend the rest of her life with him, and then told her to finish feeding after she said yes. Square bales have never been flaked faster. So on September 4th, 2021 (Shay’s Grandma Chryl’s and Grandpa John’s Wedding Anniversary) the two will live happily ever after after all.
