We encourage our guests to RSVP as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly. The RSVP must be made no later than September 1st, 2026. Unfortunately, no late RVSPs can be accepted prior to the wedding date due to meal planning.
Guests should arrive at the ceremony location around 2:00-2:30pm so that they can be ready and seated in time for the ceremony at 3:00pm.
Please view your RSVP on our website. This will indicate whether a +1 is invited.
The dress code will be semi-formal. For example: For men: a dress shirt with tie, or a suit with dress shirt and optional tie. For women: a dress, blouse with dress pants or skirt, or a pants suit.
No, we do not have a gift registry as we have been together for 10 years and have lived together for over 6 years, so we have everything we need! However, money towards our honeymoon or to support the wedding is always welcome, and there will be a basket available for cards on one of the tables.
We recommend guests stay at the Qualicum Beach Inn for convenience, as this is where the wedding is taking place. We also have a discounted group booking rate for guests at this location. For more information on using our discount, please check out our 'Hotels' page. However, this is a very small hotel with only 32 rooms, so if you are planning on staying here we recommend booking as soon as possible. If you are unable to or don't want to stay at this hotel there are many more options close by that we have linked on our 'Hotels' page.
If any guests have a food allergy, please let us know! When you RSVP you can fill out whether or not you have a food allergy and what it is.
Guests are welcome to park at the Qualicum Beach Inn, however, there are only around 30 parking stalls. If you are unable to find parking here, guests can park behind the hotel on Elizabeth Avenue, or along the ocean on the Island Highway West.
We want you to be fully present for our ceremony, so please refrain from taking photos during that time. A professional photographer will be capturing every moment for you! You’re more than welcome to snap as many photos and videos as you’d like during the reception.
Unfortunately, this will be a mostly kid-free event. The only children present will be the flower girl and ring bearer. As this is such a small venue, with a maximum capacity of 45 people, we are only inviting our closest family and friends, and there will not be room for everyones kids.
Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors. There is also a covered patio area with fire pits attached to the reception room.
Guests can not bring any pets to the wedding. However, the Qualicum Beach Inn has a few dog friendly rooms, as do some nearby hotels.
