Canadian Bakin is a local bakery located close to downtown that makes their own bagels and supplies bagels to multiple coffee shops in town, though they have their own coffee that is quite good! They are open Sunday mornings (a rare occurrence in Huntsville) which is nice for out of town guests.
Huntsville's main tourist attraction! We both also worked here at space camp during college. Planetarium tickets are sold separately and can be bought online or in person. On Fridays the Planetarium also does special late night shows called "Cocktails and Cosmos" which can be purchased online as well. General admission tickets will allow you to see the only remaining Saturn V rocket with all matching serial numbers on its parts!
Campus 805 is a former High School turned into an entertainment building. Its broader campus is home to many restaurants, two microbreweries, a hidden speakeasy, and various other shops. Will's favorite micro brewery in Huntsville is Yellowhammer which is on the campus, though Straight to Ale is also good! We also highly recommend Pizzelle's Confections, an award winning local chocolate shop!
Lowe Mill is a former textile mill turned into an artist collective. It features 153+ art studios mainly focusing on painters but also including a whiskey distillery, meadery, record store, candle shop, rug makers, various dining options, and more! Lowe Mill is closed on Sundays so if it is something you are interested in plan accordingly.
