What is the wedding attire?

Answer

Wedding attire is semi-formal. Our wedding is during the Kentucky Derby so grab your favorite bow tie, hat, and "dress to the nines" in your favorite Kentucky Derby outfit if you would like!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our wedding is an adults-only event. We love your little ones, we really do! However, our wedding and reception are not children or pet friendly. We also want our guests to be able to take some time to themselves to unwind, cut loose, and have fun while we celebrate becoming Dr. & Mrs.!

Where is the nearest airport?

Answer

There are two airports we suggest flying into for out-of-state guests: Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Birmingham, AL 1 hour and 30 minute drive to Lake Martin Montgomery Regional Airport Montgomery, AL 1 hour and 15 minute drive to Lake Martin

Where should I stay?

There are many great lodging options for our friends traveling in! We suggest staying in Alexander City, AL or Dadeville, AL. Check out our travel page for our hotel and lodging suggestions!

Lots! We suggest planning a long weekend getaway and making this a trip you will never forget. From hiking to camping, to sightseeing, and even hitting the water, Lake Martin has it all.
