WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

In September of 2015, Shayle headed back The University of Arizona for her junior year of college excited for a new year and new opportunities to come her way. Little did she know.. A boy named Nick was just transferring to the U of A to attend business school. Nick had gone to school in Steamboat Springs, Colorado the 2 years prior. They both were living in college housing called "The Retreat" in Tucson, AZ. The very first weekend Nick was living in Tucson he met some friends, one which happened to know one of Shayle's roommates at the time. Shayle's roommate had told her some friends were coming over later that night. Little did she know she would meet the love of her life that night. Nick walked into Shayle's college cottage, 9701, on the night of September 5, 2015, and the rest is history. They stayed up talking to each other until sunrise that night and have been absolutely inseparable ever since. Shayle's college roommates always said, "Nick walked in and he never left."

Back in December as Nick and Shayle were busy preparing for the holidays, Nick had his Grandma Lynn (the one person he knows Shayle won't say no to) send a text saying there was a very important formal dinner for the Savoie family scheduled the upcoming Saturday in Newport Beach. They agreed to go! Starting the morning of December 21, Nick woke up in the best mood waking Shayle to breakfast in bed. They then headed up to Newport Beach. As they were approaching the restaurant, Nicks brother called and said they were going to be a little late so to take their time. They were already in the area and they drove by the Pelican Hill Resort, which Nick knew Shayle loves and suggested they stop by to kill some time. They pulled up to valet, walked through the lobby leading outside to a breathtaking view. There was a beautiful set up right in front of them, where Nick got down on one knee and asked Shayle to spend the rest of her life with him. SHE SAID YES! They enjoyed their intimate moment together that they will never forget, and then both of their families popped out! It was a beautiful, emotional moment. Shayle and Nick are very close with their siblings and it was a true blessing to get everyone in the same place to celebrate this new chapter in their lives. Their families joined as one to celebrate Shayle & Nick's engagement. Shayle And Nick then got to have their own suite at The Pelican Hill Resort which was all decorated for them. The perfect proposal in Shayle's eyes. XO
