The love of softball brought us together. Small talk on the field eventually led to our first date. From shutting down restaurants and long hours spent talking outside, we both knew there was something special. A year later and we are engaged. God had a plan to bring our lives together - His timing was perfect. Excited to see what this beautiful journey of marriage has in store for us. The best is yet to come!

We took a trip to Virigina where Shayle took it as a time to visit her sister and Chris already had a plan to propose. Rainy weather in Virginia led us to beautiful North Carolina. All geared up and ready for a hike, we headed to our destination - Looking Glass Rock. Doing our best to soak in God’s creation, we decided to capture that moment with a picture. Why not!? As we were about to step down, Chris got down on a knee and asked Shayle to marry him. In awe and in love, that was an easy ‘yes’ for Shayle. We walked up the mountain as boyfriend and girlfriend and we walked down as an engaged couple. God’s story for us has only begun!
