Where is the ceremony?

Answer

On May 8, 2021 we will have a reception only for all family and friends at the Baton Rouge Marriott.

Question

Do all guest have to wear black?

Answer

Yes! To satisfy the theme of our wedding we are requesting ALL guest to wear black attire. No loud accent color clothing please. Black tie, semi-formal or formal would be appropriate.

Should I get there early?

Answer

Early arrival is strongly encouraged. Doors will open at 7:00p. Reserved seating will only be given to immediate family.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

On the RSVP tab type in your name and check off you and your guest. Then press submit your request. You should receive a confirmation email after completion.

Are there hotel rooms blocked off?

Answer

Yes. You will find it more convenient to take advantage of the group discount at The Baton Rouge Marriott since the wedding will be located there. The discount is under the name Brazelton Wedding. Call the front desk or book online by April 27, 2021 (this deadline has expired)

Will parking be available?

Answer

Yes. The hotel will be able to accommodate all guest parking for free.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Take as many pictures as you like. For Instagram, use the hashtag #MarryingThePope @shaylafierce @international_kel

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We both adore children. However, this is an adult only celebration. No children allowed unless permitted in your RSVP.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

In order to keep our guest list on track, we are only able to accommodate formally invited guests that have an RSVP on file through the wedding website.

What is taking place on May 9, 2020?

Answer

We were married in an intimate ceremony with immediate family and local friends according to the social distancing guidelines of Louisiana (No more than 50 people outdoors). For the many family members and friends who could not attend because of COVID-19, we look forward to celebrating safely with you at the official wedding reception on May 8, 2021.

Do I have to wear a mask?

Answer

Masks will be required to enter the building. Black masks will be given to guests if needed. There will be hand sanitizers placed throughout the room. For your safety, we encourage you to get the vaccine, keep your mask on throughout the evening and/or remain at your table to practice social distancing.
