I can't help falling in love with you.

We met in 2015 at traffic school. Who would have thought breaking the law would bring a love so strong? After meeting, we learned quickly we both attended the same trade school (Wyotech) months apart and in two different cities. That was Alex’s key to Facebook to find Shayla where he persistently sent messages for a year trying for a date until February of 2016 when he made a chocolate covered strawberry order (that her mom brought out instead) little did she know, her mom would come back in and bug her to date him because of his “pretty blue eyes” and “perfect smile”. She gave in, and it only took one date to Durant’s before she fell for him. We continued to date until April 9th when he took her to a spa weekend at The Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs and asked her to be his girlfriend. The beginning of our relationship was fun and spontaneous. Filled with many trips to LB, CA where Alex is from to sporadic late night camping trips to Prescott; one where they even ended up offroading in the middle of nowhere after ADOT closed the freeway down due to a massive pileup for hours just because Alex didn’t want Shayla to miss the Cardinals game. Our love grows strong and has faced many obstacles as we adopted two beautiful daughters Elizabeth and Mary in 2022 and later welcomed our beautiful son Maverick. As our love grows, so does our family! It’s already been eight years, and our story is only beginning.
