Answer

The Wedding Ceremony and Wedding Reception will be held in the same location despite being referred to as two separate locations. These venues are located in Visalia, California. "The Woodlands" is an outdoor venue in which Alejandro and Shayla will be married. This is where the Wedding Ceremony will occur. This location is located in the backyard of the Bella Vita Reception Hall. "The Bella Vita" is the reception hall where you will walk directly to following the wedding ceremony. There will be a cocktail designated area within the hall for guests to enjoy following the wedding ceremony. Please see the wedding invitation for address and additional information.

Answer

The ceremony is expected to start promptly at 4:00 PM. Please arrive 20-30 minutes early to obtain adequate seating. Please sit on either side of the wedding ceremony we are all family.

Answer

Please RSVP by February 1st, 2026. It helps us plan, and we’d love to know you’re coming! If you change your mind, please let us know as soon as possible. Wedding invitations will include a QR code that will allow you to reserve. The RSVPs will be located at this website.

Answer

Parking will be located in the parking lot of the Bella Vita. Guests can walk through the Bella Vita to get to the outdoor wedding ceremony and find their seats. Parking will be free. Please no overnight parking.

Answer

Semi-formal — dressy but no pressure to wear a suit and tie. Think cocktail dresses, mini dresses, slacks, button ups, or a stylish jumpsuit. A suit or dress pants with a blazer; ties optional. Think dressed up and comfortable. Just no jeans.

Yes. Please be mindful of seating as the first 2-3 rows on either side of the Wedding Ceremony stage may be reserved for immediate family members. These rows will be specifically marked. If they are not marked please sit as closely as possible. We want you all to hear and be part of the love.

Please refer to your invitation. If a guest is listed, they’re invited! Otherwise, we’re keeping things intimate. The venue's capacity is 250 guests only-Space is limited.

Yes! Absolutely! We've included your immediate family members on your invitation. Please refer to your invitation for further details. If you don't see their name or a "plus one" for that child please contact Alejandro or Shayla. Space is limited so please only bring your immediate children to the Wedding.

Immediately following the “I do’s,” we’ll head straight into cocktail hour, then dinner, dancing, and celebration!

We’re going unplugged for the ceremony — we’d love for you to be fully present. Feel free to snap away during the reception though!

Please take videos and photos during the reception and send them to Alejandro and Shayla. Please send as many as you'd like. They'd love to see them the following day. Do not worry about sending too many. Send away!

Answer

No. Please do not feel obligated to bring a gift. Your presence is enough. However, if you feel inclined to bring a gift Alex and Shayla's registry is located on this website. You may also bring a card, gift cards or cash. Alex and Shayla are saving up for their dream home and would greatly appreciate your donations.
