Brennan and I could not be more excited to finally get to celebrate this joyous occasion with you all!! With all of the Covid-19 craziness going on this year we did want to let you know that things are still very much on track with our wedding. As we get closer to the day we will be able to give you more information inregards to wedding events. We also fully understand if there is family that is hesitant to come to the wedding due to the virus. If you have any reservations about coming, please feel free to let us know. On his birthday, of course, we went on our first date. At the time we were both working at Cinemark and it was getting pretty busy there, so instead of going on that standard "let's go out to eat then see a movie" first date, we settled on just food. We ended up going to Olive Garden, now Brennan's least favorite restaurant. It was amazing getting to sit down and actually talk face to face, instead of texting each other until 2 AM as we had done for about a week before the first real date. We had a wonderful time, once he brought me back to my place he officially asked me to be his girlfriend. Sadly his Chicken and Shrimp didn't sit well with him and he got food poisoning. Haha. At the time I thought it was a bad sign that he got sick from our first date, and on his birthday, but as we have gone forward with our relationship I've found that we are meant to be. If we only knew then that our love for each other would only grow stronger with each passing day. 💜

Now Brennan and I had been thinking about marriage for a hot second. We talked about what dates we would want to have it on, where would we both want to get married. Those kinds of things. So we picked a couple of dates and I found my favorite venue. When we traveled to Austin on August 1st, I never realized that House on the Hill, the my favorite venue, was our destination. He proposed in front of the beautiful waterfall on the property, which is where we will end up saying our "I do's". We cannot wait to spend the weekend with our family and friends to celebrate!!
