Ladies and gentlemen, get ready to meet the Maid of Honour extraordinaire – the bride's fabulous big sister, Nicolette! A blend of smarts and liveliness, Nicolette is here to keep Shaye organized and on track throughout wedding planning and keep her wine glass topped up at all times. Their relationship can be summed up by Nicolette keeping time on the drums while Shaye danced naked on the deck when they were kids - Shaye, the ever free spirited and Nicolette, the eternally organized. Brace yourselves for a whirlwind of fun and a dash of sibling banter as Nicolette takes on the role she's been waiting for since Shaye realized Kyle was the one in 2013.
CARSON CONROY
Best Man
It was a mere 23 years ago where Carson and Kyle first bumped into each other at the local preschool in Arbour Lake. Little did they know, they would become best friends for life, when Carson followed Kyle to Cochrane, moving a short 5 minute walk down the road. From the start of grade 1, it was an instant bond so powerful that the school had to place them in separate classrooms due to their constant disruptions and distractions they would cause together. Every day after school when they were allowed to associate again, they would go outside and play any number of sports, with their favorite being road hockey. Kyle likes to think it was Carson who gave him the confidence to become a goalie as he grew up, as Carson notoriously could never score on him when they played, thus costing Kyle’s parents thousands more dollars on expensive goalie equipment. If they weren’t playing sports, they’d be watching scary movies that Kyle couldn’t handle, playing video games for 12 hours straight, or chasing after the neighborhood girls, attempting to impress them with Heely’s tricks, always unsuccessfully. To this day, they remain as close as ever, with the only difference being they no longer chase girls, as they’ve both found themselves unfortunate souls who has agreed to put up with them.
CARLY GOSS
Officiant
Without Carly, Shaye and Kyle might not have ever met. Carly is one of Shaye's longest (& tallest friends lol). Starting at ages 4-5 these two were terrors of the town at Shaye's family cabin, running around catching flutterbies and making sand cakes to sell to the masses on their fictional cooking show. A beautiful sisterhood was born. Kyle and Carly's friendship started years later in school when they lived down the street from each other. Kyle would frequently go use Carly's trampoline, with his friend, much to her annoyance. Their friendship could be simply described as the bond that is shared between siblings. One day in June 2013, Shaye was at Carly's house when Kyle happened to be on that trampoline and the rest was history. Carly was the only person Kyle and Shaye could imagine would be best suited to fulfilling the roll as Officiant on the day of their wedding. She has been there through every high and low and all the in between.
Erica Leitch

Erica and Shaye’s friendship began before they even knew it. Childhood summers at the cabin were filled with endless games of hide and seek, getting hair twists done on the deck, and sleepovers, sparking a bond that quickly grew into something like sisterhood. Growing up in the same neighborhood meant they could keep the tradition alive with weekly Thursday night play dates—secret handshakes, shared secrets, and laughter becoming the threads that tied them together. As they grew older, Erica and Shaye became each other’s adventure partners, exploring mountains and diving into all sorts of backcountry mischief. Through the twists and turns of adulthood, they’ve cherished the friendship that has stood the test of time, celebrating each other’s triumphs and always showing up when it matters most. Erica has been a steady support for Shaye through life’s ups and downs, and now, it’s only fitting for her to be there on Shaye’s wedding day as the Master of Ceremonies, helping to bring the celebration to life.

Sav and Kyle first crossed paths at the age of 8, playing Atom hockey. Even at a young age, it was evident to Kyle that Sav was a very unique person, as he was always confident, smiling and enthusiastic. To this day, he is the exact same way, leaving a lasting impression on the people he meets with his infectious positivity. Sav and his family have shared a close bond with Kyle over the years, welcoming him into their home after countless late nights at the Shergill household. On our wedding night, he’ll undoubtedly be a lively, joyful presence, ensuring the good times keep rolling as Co-MC

Meet Brody the cutest ring bearer you've ever seen! Brody is Shaye's precious Godson, he'll be impossible to miss with his dapper little suit. Brody will be stealing hearts as he struts down the aisle and is sure to be a highlight of the ceremony.

Introducing Rowan! The flower Boy extraordinaire! As Brody's little brother and assistant to the ring bearer Rowan will e charming the crowd with his playful spirit and big grin! Weather he's tossing flowers petals with precision or getting carried away with the fun, Rowan's joyful energy is sure to add smiles to the ceremony!
