Shay & Lily couldn’t have guessed what was coming when they matched on a dating app called Hinge on January 1, 2021 during the height of the pandemic. After just a few consecutive evenings of hours-long conversations, Shay drove an hour and a half on a work night to drop off Lily's favorite soup on her front porch, knowing he wouldn't be able to see her just yet due to the pandemic. They continued video chatting each evening until, after taking multiple negative COVID tests, they finally met on January 29. Their first date was sipping coffees on a sunny, steep hill at Griffith Park, followed by a walk around the beach. Come back to the beach with us on November 2, 2024 to celebrate forever.
