it's almost here!

Yup, that was Shay's opener. On March 2, 2014 Jolie and Shay matched on Hinge (a dating app) and Shay told Jolie the infamous 'Hinge fish joke' that changed their lives forever. Despite the joke, they kept talking and a few days later Shay asked Jolie to meet for an impromptu weeknight date at 10pm, Jolie agreed, Shay ate a full meal (obviously), they instantly clicked, and the rest is history. 4 years, 3 apartments, and a french bulldog named Ace later, on the first night of Hanukkah, Shay popped the question after they lit the candles in their apartment. Jolie said yes (obviously) and then they celebrated with their parents over dinner in NYC before heading to Miami to celebrate with friends.
