Long story short, we met on a blind date.

[Shay Speaking] Once again, long story short. On a Thursday, our typical date night [hints why our wedding is on a Thursday], Alex rented out the restaurant where we had our first date. She had our playlist going and made sure all of my favorite foods were served. In the middle of dinner, when our song played, she proposed. It really was the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me. THEN when I couldn't think the evening could get any better, we ended the night with a nightcap, where all our family, friends, and fur babies were waiting to my surprise. I can not put into words how magical and special that night was.
