Travel Note
The beautiful island of Vashon can only be accessed by a short ferry ride. The Ferry toll rate is currently $22.75 per car with an additional $6.50 per passenger. *These are round trip tickets* Entry to Vashon Island: -West Seattle -Tacoma Each one is about 15-20 minutes crossing. Just enough time to walk around and take in the sights of Washington’s beautiful Puget Sound, Mt Rainier, and perhaps get a chance to see a pod of Orcas swim past. From Tacoma: 5810 N Pearl St, Tacoma, WA 98405 Heading Northwest of WA-16 take exit 3 for 6th Ave toward WA-163 N/Ruston. Continue onto Bantz and then turn right onto Pearl St heading North. While on N Pearl St you’ll drive past the signs towards the Zoo and through the Point Defiance Park. Turn right onto Ferry Crossing Landing Rd then a slight right onto Vashon Ferry Lanes. From Seattle: 4829 SW Barton St, Seattle, WA 98136 From I-5 or Alaska Way (99) head to the West Seattle Freeway heading West towards Fauntleroy. You will see signs that direct you to the West Seattle Fauntleroy Ferry Terminal. The West Seattle Freeway (or West Seattle Bridge) will turn into Fauntleroy Way SW. Follow Fauntleroy Way SW heading West still towards the West Seattle Fauntleroy Ferry Terminal. Fauntleroy Way SW will curve to the left through an intersection winding down towards Lincoln Park. Once you get to the Lincoln Park you’ll notice a lane on the right next to the curb with marked signs. This is the ferry holding lane. ***Please be in line for the ferry by 1pm to ensure that you make it to the venue on time***
