The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat, but we are laid back sooo don’t go out of the way if you can’t 😊 PLEASE NO white/Ivory/cream colors
Both wedding and reception are in the same area and both are being held outdoors (weather permitting).
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
We recommend that you arrive an half hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled
Parking is free! There will be a designated parking area with plenty of parking available.
While we love your little ones, we regretfully can not accommodate everyone's children at our wedding due to restricted numbers. If we were unable to invite your children we hope that you will see this as an opportunity to let your hair down and enjoy the party with us. There is as well an in-ground pool so we would prefer to not have to worry about a child accidentally falling in. For out of town guests with children, we are talking of providing childcare for your kids, if interested let me know!
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation
We have booked rooms at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Richburg, address is 3190 Commerce Drive, Richburg, SC 29729. It is the closest to the venue. When you call it is under Dixon-Szoltysik.
Yes, absolutely! We will be keeping this simple with a pizza and wings buffet. We also be having an open bar providing cocktails, beer, water, and soda. Please be kind to bring some cash though to help us make sure our bartenders are taken care of :)
The wedding itself will be “unplugged” meaning we ask that you keep your cameras and phones put up during the ceremony so our photographers and videographer can get the best pictures/video. We will have a few minutes that we will set aside so you can get some pictures as well! But afterwards we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media accounts, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #shegetstheD so we can keep track of all of your pictures 📸
It is still pretty warm in September, temperature is usually in the 80’s during the day and around 70’s-60’s in the evening.
The bride and groom will take pictures together and with close family and the wedding party. You will get to enjoy drinks for cocktail hour and the reception will follow at 6 pm.
