A letter written a long time ago to God was answered, I asked for the rib cage and he asked for the rib and since the day we meet we have made it easier to breath, Shawn is my protector he makes me feel safe, he has shown me that its okay for a man to shower a woman with kisses and hugs to say I love you, its okay for a woman to say I love you without hurt in return, I am the happiest and proudest woman on Earth to say that God had fulfilled my dream of finding love and peace

It's my birthday It's my birthday I'm super excited, my sister is cooking my brother is decorating and I'm not to lift a finger, my siblings are spoiling me! My daughters are here along with my granddaughters to party with their Mom/Gigi but wait my guy is acting strange, he has rushed me to dress this morning," Come on baby get dressed". The party is started and boy what fun! Time for the gifts and I got what I asked for pandora charms and a beautiful dress, great food, family fun and laughter. But as the music is turned down Shawn asked me to read his gift out loud, as I read the card and opened my charm, towards the end of the card he asked me to turn around to the most beautiful ring and him asking for my hand in marriage, of course I said YES!

The day we became official I got a text was asked, " Hi what is something you want to do that you like." I responded let's go for a walk in the park, we meet at the park and we talked for hours just walking and talking watching all the activities going on; the train running, kids playing and laughing. That day was a day to smile because he also took the time to surprise me with two Dallas Cowboys jerseys (our favorite football team). We learned a lot about us that day such as sharing the love of the Cowboys and the love of pasta dishes. I knew that day Shawn was a person I wanted to know so much more about.
