We'll have three hours to enjoy tabletop and card games over food and drink! After that, the party moves on to an arcade that is a short drive / walk away from Mox Boarding House. Everyone coming to the after party will receive $20 for arcade shenanigans.
Semi-formal / cocktail attire is a good fit. Our venue has an old-timey feel to it so you can dress in vintage or vintage-inspired outfits if the mood strikes! There’s no specific color scheme. The most important thing is to wear something comfortable and that you can move around in, especially for those of you who will be joining us at the arcade since we will be hitting up the dance machines there.
Mox shares parking space with a couple of other businesses, but from the looks of things you can secure a spot pretty close, or one that is a short walk away. There is also no paid parking.
Due to our budget and venue limitations, we are only able to accomodate those whose names are on the invitation. Thank you for understanding.
Yes! In fact, we could really use your help with capturing the memories since we won't have a photographer and videographer present. We only ask that you share the pictures with us. Of course we'll help you take pictures of yourselves, too!
Not at all! And we encourage everyone who wants to give gifts to do their best to find these or comparable alternatives from thrift stores, vintage shops, online thrift stores like eBay or Thriftbooks, or your local stores. The items do not have to be the same brand you see here, and the gift cards do not have to be the same as the amount listed ($100 is the minimum the website will let us choose). If you bought a gift that was listed on the registry from somewhere else, please make sure to click on the item on the registry and click the button that says "I bought this already" + "From another store." We will have a little corner set up for cards and gifts!
Mox's menu has a variety of options ranging from burgers and pastas to Mexican and Asian dishes. If you have a food allergy, please inform our servers so they can work with you to leave those ingredients out of your meal. They have a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with gluten-free options. Our wedding cake may or may not have tree nuts or ingredients processed within the same facility as tree nuts and other common allergens. You can also view the menu here: https://www.moxboardinghouse.com/mox-bellevue-restaurant-menu/
We will be playing Magic the Gathering! We have a few starter decks available for those who want to partake in battling it out like a proper wedding. If you're unfamiliar with the rules, we can gladly help you through the basics. It's honestly really simple to pick up.
