Three words changed our lives forever. Shawn: what’s your secret? That’s how it all started. We met on facebook April 12, 2017. At first glance, that might seem a bit typical. But... We were both members of a group on facebook that had over 80,000 members from all over the world. At first we talked strictly business; nothing personal. After about 15 minutes of that, our conversation was soon turning into an hour, and then two, and then... 3. What was this?? We both knew something incredible was brewing and we couldn’t ignore it. Shawn lived in Pittsburgh, PA and Rachael lived in Columbia, MD. Hey, at least we were basically state-neighbors and one of us wasn’t in Australia or something, right? We met up in person 10 days later, and of course, connected even more than we anticipated. The first 4 months of our relationship was long distance, but we didn’t mind. We lived for the weekends with each other until Shawn was able to relocate down to Maryland in the summer! On April 28, 2018 we were at a work conference in Dallas with some of our team. Shawn dropped down to one knee, and the new chapter for them had officially begun!! It’s been such a beautiful journey together so far, and we are beyond excited for this new adventure.
